KNIFE MAINTENANCE OIL

Our hand crafted knives are made with either stainless steel known as Japanese 440c and is a well-known type of Japanese stainless steel used for making knives. It's popular because it resists rust well, stays sharp for a long time, and cuts effectively.It has a rockwell hardness of 60-61 after heat treatment.

Our high carbon Damascus range are generally made from a blend of 1095 and 15N20 with a rockwell hardness of around 60.

Our wood handles are hand crafted from aged Rosewood.

We offer free tracked, express shipping Australia wide when you spend over $120. All products are shipped within 3-5 working days unless stated otherwise.

Returns

We believe in our products and know they are made by artisans from
around the world with love and care. They are not mass produced or made by
machines and tooling. These products, will often have imperfections or
variances which add to their authentic, individual charm, including but not
limited to:

– The welds 

– Forging marks 

– Scuffs, bruises, fingerprints

– Cavity within woodgrain

– Uneven or imperfect symmetry

– Different surface finish

– Burrs 

– Spots of surface rust or blemishes

– Variance in materials / textures / finishes

For any of our products, If you are not satisfied with your
purchase it can be returned within 14 days from the shipping date as long as it
is unused and undamaged. Return shipping is at the purchaser’s expense.

Refunds

A refund may be provided if goods are proven to be faulty. This will
require investigation and proof. The opportunity for repair or replacement is
at Infinite Edge Knives discretion and, if accepted, refunds will be made to
the method of payment used at purchase. 

Refunds will not be granted due to change of mind, change in lead times,
delivery charges, or for any other reason unless there is a proven fault in our
manufacturing.

 Warranty

Our goods are covered by a 12 month manufacturing warranty. Should our
products prove to fault during this period, a process to rectify, replace or
refund will take place.

Warranty does not cover:

– Misuse of products 

– Blunt or chipped blades

– Damage caused through heat, lack of maintenance, age, or wear and tear

– Many of our knives are made from HIGH CARBON steel, which is also prone to
patina, and surface rust. Knives must be oiled after being cleaned after use.
These are professional knives which will last generations if properly cared
for.

– Our chopping boards, knife boards and wooden handle products must all be
maintained and cared for. Like any wooden product, they will come sealed,
however keeping them waxed or oiled is the purchasers responsibility. You must
not submerge in water or clean in a dishwasher. Any cracking, or drying is the
responsibility of the purchaser.

Warm sponge wash. Do not use hot, hot water. Do not use a dishwasher to clean as the woods will be damaged. Seal wood handles with wood wax or appropriate oils on a semi regular basis. Use a mineral oil on any carbon non stainless steels to avoid rust. If rust forms use vinegar and a cloth to remove the rust then apply mineral oil.
